Egyptian Club History
Since its start in 2012, the Egyptian Club of Edmonton has been connecting the Egyptian community together in Edmonton and Alberta, by organizing social gatherings, events, summer activities, and coordinating the efforts among community members to support Egyptians in Edmonton and newcomers to Canada.
The Egyptian Club’s activities have been managed and executed by valued volunteers from our own Egyptian community. The engagement of volunteers and community members was what made the activities a success and notably growing and increasing the level of engagement among community members.
In April 2021, the Egyptian Club of Edmonton was registered as a non-profit society in Alberta under the name Egyptian Canadian Cultural Association (operating under Egyptian Club).

Egyptian Club Dream Project
Founding a physical club location for Egyptians to socialize was and still the ultimate goal for this initiative. Authentic Egyptian restaurant and cafe, Arabic school, translation services, social events' hall, family and senior lounges, and much more are among the services, amenities and activities that this dream project would offer to the club members.
